Privacy Policy

At Potentia Sports, the privacy and security of information you provide is very important to us. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

Data controller: Potentia Sports Ltd, Holborn Town Hall, 193–197 High Holborn, London, WC1V 7BD.

The type of personal information we collect

We do not collect any personal data from you unless you provide it within our contact form. If you complete the contact form, you provide us with your name, email address, and any other information you include in the message box (such as your company name, phone number, or the content of your message).

How we use your personal information

We use data you have provided solely to respond to your enquiry submitted via the contact form and to follow up on that enquiry. We will never re-sell or distribute your personal information to any third party.

Under UK GDPR, the lawful basis we rely on for processing your enquiry data is consent (Article 6(1)(a)), given when you complete and submit the contact form. If you would like to receive marketing communications from us in future, we will ask for your separate, explicit consent at that time.

How long we keep your data

We retain contact form enquiries for no longer than 24 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion — whichever is sooner. After this period your data is securely deleted.

Contact form submissions

When you submit our contact form, your submission is processed and securely stored by Netlify, the platform that hosts this website. Netlify stores form submissions on our behalf solely so that we can access and respond to your enquiry. We do not sell or share this data with any other third party. Netlify's own privacy policy is available at netlify.com/privacy.

How we use cookies and local storage

We use Google Analytics (a service provided by Google LLC) to understand how visitors use our website. Google Analytics may set analytics cookies on your device to measure traffic and usage patterns. These cookies cannot be used to personally identify you. Your preference is stored in your browser's local storage (not a cookie) under the key ps-cookie-consent.

You will be asked for your consent before any analytics cookies are set. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing your browser's local storage or site data for this website, or by declining when prompted. You can also disable cookies entirely through your browser settings.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Right of access — request a copy of the data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Right to erasure — ask us to delete your personal data.
  • Right to restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data.
  • Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at dpo@potentia-insight.co.uk. We will respond within one month.

Right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK's supervisory authority, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO): ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or call 0303 123 1113.
